Considering the 1/6 scale Azur Lane Unicorn White My Angel figure? This guide covers key specs, pre-order tips, and trade-offs to help you decide.
Quick Answer
If you're a dedicated Azur Lane fan who values detailed 1/6 scale craftsmanship and don't mind waiting for a Q2 2027 release, the Unicorn White My Angel figure is a strong pre-order candidate. But you'll need a stable display spot and a flexible budget.
Why the 1/6 scale size matters
At 8.5 inches tall, this figure is larger than typical 1/7 or 1/8 scales, which means more surface area for the intricate details that Union Creative is known for. The bigger size also makes her a striking centerpiece, but it requires more shelf space and a sturdy base.
Because the figure does not balance on its own, you must use the included stand. That's not a flaw—many detailed scale figures need support to maintain dynamic poses—but it's a factor to consider if you prefer figures that sit freely on a shelf.
Pre-order considerations: deposits and delays
Pre-ordering locks in the catalog price of USD 248.92, which is a discount from the USD 340.99 comparison price. However, the expected release is Q2 2027, so be prepared for a long wait and potential delays—common in the figure industry.
Also, note that paintwork is partially hand-applied, so minor variations between units are normal. This isn't a defect but a sign of handcrafted quality.
Decision rules for pre-ordering
- Check your display space: Measure your shelf or cabinet to ensure it can fit an 8.5-inch figure with the stand. The base adds footprint, so allow extra room. Use a ruler to confirm the depth and height before committing.
- Confirm your budget for the long wait: The pre-order price is USD 248.92, but the release is Q2 2027. Ensure you can comfortably set aside that amount without straining your finances. Set aside the funds now to avoid last-minute pressure.
- Accept hand-painted variations: Since paint is partially hand-applied, your figure may differ slightly from photos. This is normal and adds uniqueness, but if you expect exact uniformity, reconsider. Embrace the handmade charm or look for a different figure.
