Thinking about the Azur Lane Taihou 1/7 scale figure? Here’s what to verify before pre-ordering, from size and stand needs to paint expectations.

Quick Answer

Before you pre-order the Azur Lane Taihou Fun on the Baize figure, verify the size, stand requirement, and hand-painted finish—these details affect display and value.

Understanding the Scale and Size

This Taihou figure is a 1/7 scale, which typically means a compact but detailed display piece. At about 10.6 inches tall, it fits most shelves and detolf cases, but always measure your space to avoid surprises.

The scale and size also influence the price. At $138.46 (compared to $226.99), you’re getting a mid-range figure with good presence without breaking the bank.

Why the Stand Matters

The product listing clearly states that this figure does not balance on its own. That means the included stand is not optional—it’s essential for stability.

If you prefer figures that stand freely, this could be a drawback. But many dynamic poses require a support, and the stand ensures safety.

Paint and Production Realities

APEX TOYS uses partial hand painting, which means each figure will have slight variations. This is normal and adds uniqueness, but if you expect a perfectly uniform finish, you might be disappointed.

Also, the images shown may differ from the final product. Always read the listing notes to set your expectations.

Decision Rules

Check the size: Measure your shelf or display case to ensure the 10.6-inch height fits comfortably.
Plan for the stand: Since the figure won't balance on its own, make sure you're okay with using the included stand for display. The stand is included, so no extra purchase needed.
Expect paint variation: Hand-painted details mean each figure is slightly unique—if you prefer flawless consistency, this might not be for you.
Review the release timeline: Preorder ends 3/27/2026, with expected release in Q2 2027. If you need a figure sooner, consider other options. Mark the preorder deadline on your calendar.
